VISION
2022
ANNUAL REPORT

A Year We Will Never Forget

2022 Was an incredible year. It was a year birthed in revival, where God moved our hearts to a new pattern of reliance on the Holy Spirit, and rhythm of intimacy with Him. We baptized many, welcomed hundreds of guests, and saw so many people come to salvation in Christ.

Even in the midst of a season of uncertainty, there is no doubt that God is on the move in our church and in this community. As we look toward 2023, let's take a moment to reflect on all the ways He has been faithful to us this year.

We love partnering with non-profits, businesses, and organizations to be the hands and feet of Jesus to our community.  Here are a just a few ways we served the 919 this year.

Everyday grace

Everyday Grace Foster Closet serves the community by providing clothing (birth - youth XL), shoes, baby items, hygiene items, and toys to foster care families.  This year, we volunteered hours serving on Saturdays to organize and distribute these items to foster families.

raleigh Dream CENTER

The Raleigh Dream Center  is a Christian-based, volunteer driven organization providing residential and community outreach programs to homeless, abused and impoverished high risk youth, individuals and families.  We volunteered many hours serving at adopt-a-blocks, family nights, and food drives.

BACKPACK BUDDIES

We partnered with Harris Creek Elementary School and participated in BackPack Buddies, which enables children, who can't afford groceries, to take home food for the weekend.  As of November 1, 2022, we packed 573 bags (with an estimated 708 by the end of 2022!

ichoose

This year, we participated in a baby bottle drive to raise money to help provide resources for iChoose.  You generously gave $2,946.90 this year in our baby bottle drive!

Monte de horeb

Monte de Horeb Ministries is a Christian ministry that allows North Americans to work alongside local Honduran churches to reach people with the Gospel.  This year, we financially supported the directors, Mike & Ginger Greene.

ConVoY of hope

15 people donated blood during our FOR 919 block party. This was the first time we participated in a blood drive as a church.  The Blood Connection donated $150 from those donors to Convoy of Hope.

SAMARITANS PURSE OCC

MISSION INDIA

house of hope

In 2022, Vision Church sent over 200 shoeboxes to children around the world to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to experience the love of Christ through your generosity!
Vision sent two of our members on mission to India. During the two weeks they were there, they saw over 40 salvations and 8 people took their first step of obedience in believer's baptism.
We assisted House of Hope with landscaping needs, took a meal to the teenage residents and staff, supported them at their 5k, with over $400 donated from our registrations.

A YEAR OF
INCREDIBLE GIVING

153

Unique Givers

This isn’t a church where only a few give. This year more people gave over the past 12 months to lock arms and build God’s Kingdom together than ever before.

53

First-Time Givers

We give so that others may live. Many people, for the first time ever, gave to the Lord through the church.  What a beautiful way to worship our God!

25%

Increase in generosity

Because of the generosity of our people, our year-over-year giving is up by over 25%.  To date, you have given $339,040.13  This is just one of the many signs that Vision is becoming healthier disciples of Jesus Christ.

$44,009.78

Beyond offering

To end every year, we give a one-time special offering, that stretches and activates our faith.  We call it BEYOND.  We give, so others may live.  Last year's offering enabled us to make capital improvements, as well as meet many needs both inside and outside the church body.

$20,000

Helping those in the 919

We continue to help members of Vision and those in the 919 community that are facing financial hardships and crisis.  We also began MISSION POSSIBLE through Vision Kids - supporting local families and children in need through Forestville Elementary School.

MISSIONS GIVING

We gave over $25,000 to missions this year.  This doesn't include personal support of missionaries from some of our members.  Some of our mission partners are: NAMB, IMB, Stand Out Ministries, Mount De Horab, and Operation Christmas Child through Samaritan's Purse.

We give so others may live.
